Volunteer for The Rad Library!

September 21st, 2012 § Leave a Comment

The Rad Library needs your help! Please see the information below.

The Rad Library is seeking volunteers to help run things – we are a mobile community library that sets up in Hyde Park each Sunday between 1-5, you can find us either at the Pagoda closest to the stage or at the stage. As a lot of the original members have moved on we are frequently a little short of people to run it! So if you’re free on a Sunday just drop down and have a look at our collection of Radical books & Zines – yes, we have them too!

You can get in touch with The Rad Library by emailing the.rad.library AT gmail DOT com.

Interviews with about 70 zine makers, ex-zine makers, and readers from the northwest. Featuring footage of the Portland Zine Symposium, other zine related events, and activities bringing zine culture to life. Call out for submissions! dotdotdash Issue #10 Fingerprint special zine edition

March 26th, 2012 § Leave a Comment

dotdotdash and The Perth Zine Collective invite you to submit to Fingerprint – issue 10 of dotdotdash!

Fingerprint is a special zine issue of dotdotdash. Rather than submitting creative writing or art to the magazine, you are invited to submit a zine.

Every zine in Fingerprint needs to be printed, drawn, scanned, inked or marked in some way with a fingerprint. This fingerprint can be your own or your pet’s. It could even simply be metaphorical. As long as it’s an image that relates, it will be okay.

Click here to check out the poster for more info on how to submit.

Submissions close 7th May 2012.
